With a clear intention and a strong enough desire to purify yourself both mentally and emotionally, nothing can get in the way. Sometimes, things are as simple as breathing is. But for some reason we’re still reluctant to notice how simple breathing techniques improve both our mood and general wellbeing. Try out a few techniques and take some well-deserved rest.

Another solution, popularly referred to as “digital sabbatical” these days, may be all you need at the moment. It has been extolled by laymen and experts alike, embraced by those who are privy to a range of spiritual practices and those who are not.  Designate a time frame to get away from your computer and reacquaint yourself with the world around you. That’s all it takes!

  1.      Take Up a New Sport

Get busy learning a new skill that requires you to step outside of your physical comfort zone. The best way to do so is to pick a sport you’re not so good at, possibly something you have given up a long time ago. Put your limits to a new test with some new martial arts practice or sign up for some dancing classes with your best friend. You’re sure to have fun!

  1.      Create a Gratitude Jar

If you want to adopt a simple strategy that will instantly uplift you whenever you are down, then you better start working on your custom-made gratitude jar. Take a piece of paper and write down three things you’re most grateful for each day. Do this every evening before you go to bed and save it in your very own jar. It’s bound to make you smile!

Another way to clear your mind and focus on priorities for each day, week or month is to journal regularly, preferably in the morning. Don’t get carried away with minute details.
