Patriots win Super Bowl LI 34-28 with the greatest comeback in history

New England Patriots make the most stunning comeback in the 2017 Super Bowl against The Atlanta Falcons

President Donald Trump’s prediction that the New England Patriots would win the 2017 Super Bowl during his pregame interview with Fox News Bill O’Reilly proved to be accurate Sunday night as the Patriots defeated the Atlanta Falcons 34-28 in what is being called the greatest comeback in NFL history.

The Patriots were down by 25 points in the third quarter but in the last 17 minutes around 10:05 p.m. they tied with the Falcons at 28-28, leading to the first overtime in Super Bowl history.

This victory marks the fifth time that the Patriots win the championship under coach Bill Belichick and quarterback Tom Brady.

Brady has also broken a record with this win and has now become the quarterback with the most Super Bowl rings in NFL history. According to The Huffington Post, only Charles Haley, a former defensive end for the Dallas Cowboys and the San Francisco 49ers held as many rings.

Brady has also become the first player to win four Super Bowl MVP awards.
